SAARC Association of Anaesthesiologists – SAARC-AA (formerly known as SACA) is the federation of societies of Anaesthesiologists SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation) nations viz., Bangladesh, Bhutan India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Srilanka). SAARC–AA was founded to provide a platform for the Anaesthesiologists of South Asia to work together in a spirit of friendship, trust and understanding. It aims to accelerate the process of development of education and research in the field of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain management amongst the anaesthesia community of the member states.
The ‘SAARC Journal of Anaesthesia’ is the official publication of SAARC-AA and it intends to satisfy the scientific, academic and publishing instincts of the anaesthesiology professionals of the SAARC nations.
The journal obviously will have wide readership spread across all the SAARC nations.
